Compressed air shot blasting machine for the cleaning of molds
A state-of-the-art air blast machine, specifically engineered for mold cleaning, has been successfully installed and commissioned in Rayong Province, Thailand.
The automated blasting process is executed by four precision nozzles that move accurately along the X-Y axis, driven by an electric motor and linear rail system. For added versatility in complex scenarios, the system also supports manual touch-up operations. To meet diverse cleaning requirements, the machine is fully compatible with various abrasives, including ceramic media, glass beads, and stainless steel grit. Treated workpieces achieve the following results:
Complete removal of surface impurities such as scale, burrs, and welding slag;
Creation of a surface texture with a roughness profile of 10-100 μm;
Elimination of 50%-80% of surface residual stress.
Eco-Friendly Dust Collection System
The system features a three-stage purification process (cyclone separation + cartridge filtration + final-stage filtration). It achieves a dust removal efficiency of ≥99.5%, with emission concentrations strictly maintained at ≤15 mg/m³, ensuring full compliance with environmental standards.
