To further expand its daily production capacity and meet surging order demands, NESSTEEL required a highly efficient and reliable automated shot blasting machine capable of processing maximum-dimension silos and the most complex steel structural components. Following rigorous multi-party technical evaluations and on-site inspections, the company ultimately partnered with DISA to introduce a Tunnel-type shot blasting machine.
DISA custom-engineered this brand-new system exclusively for the surface pre-treatment of steel structures and large components. The core advantage of the equipment lies in its fully enclosed loop overhead conveyor system, integrated with intelligent robotic operations. This advanced setup enables the automatic transfer and precise positioning of workpieces between different conveying lines, significantly elevating the automation level and operational flexibility of the production line.
Capable of processing maximum dimensions of 1,600 mm in width and 2,800 mm in height, the machine is powered by 12 patented DISA blast wheels. It delivers high cleaning efficiency and superior surface uniformity, consistently achieving SA 2½ cleanliness standards. This provides an ideal substrate for subsequent coating processes, effectively enhancing coating adhesion and overall product quality.
