DS6080 double chamber shot blasting pot system

The double-chamber shot blasting pot system features upper and lower storage containers, each equipped with a manifold. This design enables fully continuous shot blasting operations.

Features and benefits:

Product Description:

During the blasting cycle, the upper container continuously feeds materials to the lower container.
A liquid level indicator in the lower container triggers the upper container to replenish materials as needed.
Beneath the lower container, pinch valves and abrasive dosing valves (with closed-loop control) are installed. The lower container’s manifold features a main air valve connected to a “mixing pipe,” with check valves at all junctions. Both containers maintain pressurization, interconnected via steel pipes to form an independent air system.

Key Components & Functions:

Air System
2-inch Main Air Valve: Accessed via the HMI control panel, allowing pressurized air entry.
Remotely Controllable Pressure Reducing Valve: Closed-loop controlled, adjustable via HMI to ensure uniform pressure across all valves.
Loading Cones
Pneumatically sealed cones on both containers (actuated by cylinders) enable pressurization and material transfer:
When pressures equalize between chambers, the lower container’s cone opens for replenishment from the upper container.
The cycle repeats automatically as the lower container nears empty, sustained by feedback from the liquid level indicator.
Exhaust Valve
Operates via control pressure on the diaphragm:
Closed: When control pressure is applied.
Open: When control pressure is removed.
System Workflow
Pressurized air enters via the main air valve, initiated by HMI.
The upper chamber supplies abrasive to the lower chamber through synchronized cone operations.
Closed-loop controlled valves (dosing and pressure reducing) maintain consistent blasting parameters.
The exhaust valve regulates pressure release based on diaphragm control.

The Loading Cones:

The upper pot is sealed by a pneumatic cone to facilitate pressurization. When pressures equalize, the lower cone opens, allowing the upper pot to replenish the lower one. This cycle repeats automatically as the lower pot empties

The Main Air Valve:

The air inlet features a 2-inch main air valve, operable via the control panel to admit pressurized air into the double-chamber sandblasting machine. Once opened, the remaining valves can be operated. Located near the main valve is a remotely controllable, closed-loop pressure reducing valve. Its pressure is adjustable on the control panel, ensuring uniform pressure across all downstream valves.

Blast hose and blast gun:

The abrasive blasting pot is equipped with high-wear-resistant imported rubber blast hoses with a specification of φ32 mm × 51 mm. The blast hoses are connected to the abrasive valves through special quick blast hose couplings. It is also configured with φ8 mm single-air-inlet high-pressure boron carbide Venturi blast guns. Each blast gun consists of a nozzle and a gun sleeve, and is mounted on a movable blast gun bracket.
