Blasting with corund

Corundum, also known as aluminum oxide, is a premium sub-angular abrasive prized for its exceptional hardness (Mohs 9) and aggressive cutting performance. It delivers fast, efficient removal of rust, mill scale, old coatings, and contaminants while creating a uniform, high-quality surface profile that ensures excellent adhesion for paints and coatings.

Blasting with stainless steel

Composed of approximately 30% chromium and offering a precisely controlled hardness of 58 HRC (±3), this premium stainless steel grit delivers a clear advantage over traditional mineral abrasives such as corundum.
Its most remarkable benefit is the generation of virtually no dust during blasting. This near-dustless performance dramatically extends filter cartridge life, enables the use of lower-flow extraction systems, and provides operators with consistently superior visibility inside the blast cabinet — all of which translate into higher productivity and safer working conditions.
In addition, the exceptional toughness and low friability of this stainless steel grit result in significantly reduced wear and tear on critical equipment components, including transport systems, blast hoses, and nozzles. Unlike the highly abrasive nature of corundum, which accelerates erosion and maintenance costs, this media ensures longer service life for your entire blasting installation while maintaining outstanding cleaning and surface-preparation performance.
