Located at the bottom of the blast cabinet or within a floor recovery system, the screw conveyor serves as the primary collection mechanism. It gathers spent abrasive (such as steel shot and grit) that falls through the grating after blasting and transports it horizontally to the bucket elevator, which then lifts the media to the separator for cleaning and recycling.
